Izzy joined the English-Speaking Union as Marketing and Communications Officer in 2025, bringing with her a strong background in psychology, PR, social media, and brand communications.

Harry is an experienced volunteer and engagement professional, drawing upon over a decade in the third sector. He has specialised in engaging audiences in impactful opportunities, harnessing enthusiasm, experience and skills to achieve charitable missions.

Anna supports our community of members, donors, volunteers, and alumni, helping to grow and sustain the ESU’s work across the UK and beyond. Her passion for oracy stems from personal experience of its power to build confidence and unlock opportunity in young people.

As an English and drama teacher, trained at the world-leading UCL Institute of Education in London, Harriet became a passionate advocate for empowering young people with strong oracy skills for social mobility. She worked with the ESU at her school, and was an ESU member.
