See the best international public speakers

UK school students are warmly invited to attend the grand final of the International Public Speaking Competition 2019 for free.

Over the past few months, students aged 16-20 have battled it out to be named the best public speaker in their national competitions. The winners, from more than 50 countries around the world, are then invited to London for more heats and the grand final to decide the overall champion.

Join us at the Royal Institution, London, on Friday, 17 May from 1pm to see the best young public speakers from around the world deliver speeches on ‘Nature is a common language’.

Jon Briggs, the voice of Siri, will be heading up the judging panel of what is always an exciting and inspiring event.

School staff can contact William.stileman@esu.org for more info and can reserve up to 20 places per school.
