Date with diplomacy

Even at a couple of days’ notice, a few local ESU supporters turned up to pose challenging questions to trainee German diplomats who gave short speeches at International Language Centres, Colchester on 11 November 2024. Topics comprised the German language, German philosophers, political correctness, ‘Made in Germany’, green politics and Brexit. The event was as entertaining as it was informative and enjoyed by other students and staff as well as those representing Colchester branch.
