Historian Philip Wood will be speaking about the rise of National Socialism in 1930s Germany and making some connections with issues that we face today.  ‘Philip’s enthusiasm for his subject is legendary – I’ve enjoyed several of his memorable tours of British cities and war sites in France,’ says Stephen Purcell, Chair of the South Wales branch which is hosting this event.
