The ESU Schools’ Mace South Regional Final takes place on 26th February 2020, at The Portsmouth Grammar School. Please book a ticket to watch and support the competitors in the South of England. Come and see our work in action as one of the largest and oldest debate competitions in the country. The English-Speaking Union’s Schools’ Mace, the oldest and largest debating competition for schools in England, hones students’ debate skills in a fun, competitive environment. Working in teams, competitors enhance their speech-writing, public speaking and critical thinking, helping them to excel both in and out of school and giving them a sense of pride in themselves and their achievements.
