The English-Speaking Union invites you to join us at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare’s Globe for the Grand Final of the ESU Performing Shakespeare Competition on Thursday, 12 June!
The Performing Shakespeare Competition is a chance for schools across the country to practice their oracy and drama skills. Schools have been competing in heats across the country to secure a place in the grand final at the San Wanamaker Playhouse.
Please note, if you are attending as an audience member, you consent to photos/videos being shared on our social media. If you are a school group and would like to attend with students. Please email events@esu.org with the number of tickets you would like, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Audience members are permitted to arrive from 12.40 before moving into the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at 12.50 in preparation for the performances to begin at 1pm. For those who are unable to attend in person, the event will be live-streamed on our YouTube channel via the link here.
