SUMMARY:Zoom Event: the ESU Friendly International Forum hosted by ESU Hong Kong
DESCRIPTION:The ESU Friendly International Forum is an informal forum aimed at exchanging views\, with an underlying aim of building future collaborations and initiatives. The host of the FIF moves between different ESUs internationally and each forum centres around a topic selected by the hosting nation. \nThe topic of this sixth FIF\, hosted by our colleagues at ESU Hong Kong\, will be: ‘Leveraging Literature and Culture’. \nThe discussion will be led by three students from Diocesan Girls’ School\, Hong Kong\, who hope the following questions will prompt lively discussion and consideration amongst our international community: \nWhat does literature mean to you? How can culture enrich our learning experience? From our familiar nursery rhymes and our favourite teen novels\, to sports and science\, we hope to share how the intricate connections of literature and culture have enabled us to become more confident English speakers.
