West Sussex Branch had a departure from our usual talk programme this June. Our chairman Anthony, as a QC, was good enough to give a very interesting evening talk on the anatomy of murder! As a fundraising event, we had an excellent result.
Though a rather grisly subject, the talk was informative and showed up the extraordinary capacity of humanity to amaze – the most bizarre being a man who stabbed his wife in the back of the neck and called it suicide! And the jury acquitted him!
