Taunton & Somerset

Welcome to the Taunton & District branch

As the new Chairman of the Taunton and District branch I am delighted to offer a welcome and to introduce a virtual introduction to the branch itself.

Members gather for morning meetings which start with a talk on topics of varied interest followed by lunch, and guests are always welcome.

The annual national ESU Public Speaking Competition for schools is an important part of our activity. The local round is held in the early part of the year, usually in Taunton. Our involvement in the development of the ESU Discover Your Voice programme, which is designed to help the communication skills of youngsters, is also on the agenda.
